What a beautiful simple design honoring the Native American medicine flute. These flutes in their various keys play along with one of the larger, deeper flutes in D, E and F#. The “high D” Kestrel is one octave higher than the Condor Bass D flute with a sweet voice. The Kestrel E can be played with the Condor Bass E and the F# plays along with the deeper Key Golden Eagle F#. All of the Kestrel flutes stand alone with playfully sweet, lilting voices as well. 15″ long, terrific hicking flutes.

Double Kestrel “high D” made in Birch
With a double flute in the key of “D” the melody is played on one side and the other side provides the drone in the root note of the flute making it sound like two people are playing. Double flutes have a double mouthpiece enabling you to switch from a single flute to a double flute instantly without adjustments. This style is unique and generates more volume, (amplitude). Birch is very durable and has a sweet, lilting voice.
